Luis Aranguren S. starts working at “La Gloria de Jalisco”.
Luis Aranguren S. buys the factory changing it´s name to “LA GLORIA”.
Aceitera la Gloria, the oils plant, is built.
It builds a new factory for Starches and Glucose in Tlalnepantla, México, the most modern facility in Latin America. Empacadora del Bajío (EMBASA), is acquired in association with Miles Laboratories.
ENMEX is established, in association with Miles Laboratories, in order to manufacture enzymes for the food industry.
ARANAL is founded as a joint venture with National Starch and Chemical Co. to produce special and modified starches.
Arancia’s corn-derivative division starts a joint venture with Corn Products International, and Arancia-CPC is formed.
Servicios Estrella Azul de Occidente (SEAO), is established to provide specialized linen rental services, mainly to the health and hospitality industries.
ARANCIA-CPC, merges with Ingredion (before Corn Products International).
Arancia invests in Advanced BioNutrition (ABN), a biotechnology company specializing in the development of organic ingredients for human and animal health and nutrition.
Arancia is for the first time awarded the Socially Responsible Company certification by the Mexican Philanthropy Center (CEMEFI). Arancia became the first company in Jalisco to achieve such recognition.
NATURAEXTRACTA is established to provide natural extractives such as colors, savory flavors and antioxidants to the food industry.
Arancia acquires majority stake in PACIFIC STAR, a logistics solutions provider for food service industry.
SEAO starts up a new facility in Monterrey, N.L. to serve the northeast area of the country.

Santo Tomas joins Grupo Arancia to strengthen its line of food ingredients by providing varieties of chili peppers, herbs, dehydrated, seeds and spices, all with the best quality and customer service.
Deshidratadora Aguascalientes (DASA) joins Grupo Arancia to form Santo Tomas / DASA, expanding the line of chili peppers and dehydrated, guaranteeing quality from the field to final delivery with excellent customer service.
